It is with great sadness that the Club announces the loss of an ex-Chief Marshal and Director of the Club, Mike Hodgins.
Mike finally succumbed to an illness he had been battling in recent times, early on Saturday 18th January.
Mike was instrumental in paving the way for how our Marshal community is looked after by the Club, he was Chief Marshal between 2009 and 2016.
Mike was part of an extended family of Hodgins who have supported the club for many many years. He leaves his immediate family, our current Race Secretary, Claire and Marshal & racer, Nick in bits.
Mike was so proud of what his offspring have achieved in the Club, which is typical of a man who always sought to help others around him. He had a selfless and single minded devotion to this Club, he will be greatly missed.
