I’ve been around biking my whole life one way or another, my earliest memories are of my dad’s bikes and the obsession on getting on two wheels myself. Which I managed to do by aged two, a plastic wheeled ninja turtle peddle bike, I took my first wins on that bike against my brother racing down the garden. I of course killed It eventually from pure use! Unfortunately, an introduction to an engine between these wheels didn’t come along until I was in my late teens. A few road bikes and bit of motocross scratched the itch until 2015 when I caught the track day bug! I did track days for a few years on and off.
I started my first-year racing in 2020 in the Rookie Mintwins, I was hooked! As we all know that year was cut short, I experienced all the highs and lows of racing that year over just 4 rounds. But the highs far outweighed the lows, I learnt so much, met great people and of course got to experience what a great club BEMSEE is.
I stayed on the Minitwin for four seasons winning a championship in 2021 and various podiums and wins. In 2022 I became an instructor the club which I love every minute of and still get a buzz from seeing new riders achieve their goals, improving, and importantly enjoying their racing!
I entered the Thunderbike Sport Class in 2023, what a great class, getting used to a different bike and learning how to ride differently and adapt to different power and weight meant the year was challenging. I ended up the 3rd overall and never got to beat YOU KNOW WHO! Although I did come close a few times!
Being appointed as the Thunderbike Sport riders rep I look forward to helping out with any questions and issues any of you may have. I am always about the paddock, and always happy to have a chat.
